Summary of Institution Mission and Student Achievement
The mission of Maalot College is to provide quality postsecondary education to students who place Torah values at the center of their personal and professional lives, and to prepare them to become contributing members of their families, professions, and communities through an interactive online learning environment.
Consistent with this mission, Maalot defines student achievement as students’ progress toward and completion of their degree goals, together with their readiness to apply professional knowledge and skills in the workplace and in their communities. The College measures achievement across its four fully online degree programs (the AA and BA in Early Childhood Education, the BS in Computer Science, and the BA in Psychology) using persistence, retention, graduation, and course completion rates; student satisfaction; graduate outcomes; and direct assessment of program learning outcomes.
Results are reviewed annually by academic leadership and the Program Advisory Councils and are used to guide continuous improvement in curriculum, instruction, and student support.
